Don’t you love the word ‘mollusc’? It’s like a piece of toffee in the mouth but requiring less dental work.
Such a weight has come off my shoulders. But there’s a lingering sadness, like watching a door be closed.
I’m hoping to be more on task next week. Fingers crossed.
Life had other plans, as it always does. So when NaNo swung around this year, I rolled up my sleeves, took that deep breath and… ran headfirst into a wall.

What to do when all you want to work on is anything but your WIP?
I think the problem of plot snarls is a lot like knitting: you’re continuing merrily along, sometimes with a pattern, sometimes just making a big ol’ scarf, and you get to the end of a line and realize you’re missing a stitch.
Just like in a real NaNo, I’m suffering from what I call the Week 2 Weepies.
