Getting back a lot of beta-reading comments can be discouraging enough, but it’s nothing like opening up a “finished” story that you’ve edited/workshopped until your eyes bled only to find it’s a yarn-basket of Word comments.
What do you do when you want to do anything else but your priority?

A few summers ago, cutie and I were cat-sitting for friends, friends who a) had a much bigger place and b) encouraged us to have people over. So we decided to hold a dessert buffet. How hard could it be?
Editing is always so much slower than I expect it to be.
Partly because I don’t enjoy editing I am always looking out for ways to work smarter, not harder.
